Click the clipboard icon in the menu bar, or press ⌘⇧V in any app. Choose an item to copy it, then press ⌘V. To paste in one step, turn on Settings → General → "Paste directly into the active app" and allow Accessibility access when asked.

iOS doesn't let apps read the clipboard in the background. Open Trove and tap the Paste button, or use Share → Trove, the Trove keyboard's "Save Clipboard" button, or the "Save to Trove" Shortcut. Anything you copy on your Mac shows up automatically.

Settings → General → Keyboard → Keyboards → Add New Keyboard → Trove. To see your history in the keyboard, tap Trove in that list and turn on Allow Full Access. Without it, the keyboard still works but can't show your history.

Yes. On Mac, go to Settings → Privacy → Add App. Items that password managers mark as private are never recorded.

Make sure each device is signed in to iCloud with the same Apple Account, and that Settings → Sync shows the same key fingerprint on every device. If a device says it needs pairing, follow the steps below.

This happens when a device doesn't have your encryption key yet. On that device, tap Pair Now to show a QR code and a 6-digit code. On a device that already uses Trove, scan the QR code with the Camera app (or copy the pairing link and paste it on your Mac). Check that the codes match, then tap Allow.

Two devices set up sync before iCloud Keychain had synced, so each created its own key. On the device showing the warning, choose Settings → Sync → Pair With Another Device, and approve it from a device that shows your history correctly.

iCloud sync already backs up your history. You can also go to Settings → History → Export History to save a file, and Import History to bring it back on any device.

By default, the latest 1,000 items for up to 3 months. Change it in Settings → History. Pinned items are always kept.

Settings → Sync → Trove Cloud → Delete Account. Your account and all its encrypted data are removed from our servers immediately.

Subscriptions are managed by Apple: open Settings → your name → Subscriptions on iPhone or iPad, or the App Store → your account → Subscriptions on Mac. Deleting your Trove Cloud account doesn't cancel the subscription, so cancel it there too.
